rr–02 → doubleness
This group project entails the design and production of a spatial element intended to offer a critical and creative challenge to the formation of domestic space. Drawing inspiration from the insights found in 'Rethinking Histories of the Interior' by Charles Rice, it is aimed at reflecting upon the understanding of living environments.

Central to the project is an exploration of the jewelry box as an object embodying dualism from various perspectives. It serves as a tangible box with materiality, containing intangible mementos with immateriality. The concept of inhabitation is explored as existing between the material and immaterial, where sentimental value is intricately connected to practical value. The jewelry box emerges as a representational object with layers of privacy, depicted through its inner and outer shells. This exploration emphasizes the active role of representation in relation to inhabitation. The installation comprises two objects working in tandem to convey the essence of doubleness. A deliberately crafted scenario raises questions about the associations tied to these objects, their combined significance, and their role within the realm of domesticity.
